Operational Munitions™ close a critical gap between limited stand-off devices like batons, pepper spray, or a CEW, and high kinetic devices like 12-gauge, rubber bullets, and 37/40mm. In a time of unprecedented social unrest, our truly less-lethal platforms help agencies mitigate threats using minimal force.
The Irritant Projectile has a blend of 1.0% OC + 4% Pava. It has quick-acting incapacitating effects, higher dispersion, and higher concentration of chemical irritants than any other round found on the market today. This payload is designed for maximum stopping power.
The pepper projectile is an irritant to the skin, nose, and eyes. The physiological impact on an assailant includes coughing uncontrollably, an intense burning sensation in the eyes and on the skin, and, in some instances, vomiting.
The combination of these three – kinetic impact, psychological shock and sensory incapacitation – effectively immobilizes a suspect, allowing adequate time for the suspect to be apprehended.
Physical symptoms of chemical irritants often result in disorientation and agitation, which can lead to a state of fear, anxiety and panic in would-be attackers. Upon impact the projectiles burst, creating a cloud of chemical irritant that rapidly disperses into the air to quickly incapacitate an attacker. Within seconds, the saturation area extends in all directions around the point of impact.
These precision .68 caliber munitions fit perfectly into Byrna, Mission Less Lethal or Pepperball launchers.
