DPS Black Label is called X-Stream Tactical Ops for a reason — it drops everybody. Formulated for law enforcement and corrections in high-threat scenarios, this intense OC/CS blend is the ultimate defensive chemical system when control and compliance are critical.
This high-emission fogger features an evaporate carrier delivering a 10% OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) and 2% CS (Orthochlorobenzalmalononitrile) blend in a powerful full-cone spray. The physiological effects are severe: the CS causes intense coughing, gagging, and temporary respiratory distress, while the OC delivers burning heat and involuntary eye closure.
This unit is handheld with a gun-style grip for strong visual deterrence and control. It uses the same updated design as our DPS Magnum units, including a replaceable pull-pin safety and a new trigger system that prevents accidental lock-ups. While it doesn’t have the same range as a magnum ballistic unit, the fogger pattern provides unmatched area saturation — ideal for crowd control or personal defense in confined areas.

First-Hand Experience:
I know this first hand because I was exposed indirectly (on purpose) in a solitary cell while playing an inmate. I had five officers trying to get me out, and I was able to resist them until my partner Tom fired a ¼-second burst of Black Label into the air. Within six or seven seconds, I shut down completely. They were able to subdue me, drag me out of the cell, and belt me up.
The spray was fired into the air and reached me over 10 feet away — even under a bunk — and did its job. I can’t say enough about how effective this combination is. It’s not meant to replace regular DPS spray because the fog pattern doesn’t offer the same range, and there’s a much higher chance of self-contamination. It should only be used in truly extreme situations.
That being said, if someone is in your personal zone during a confrontation — hold your breath, spray, and get out of there. That would be my advice.
